Tusciainforma is a multi-service portal which promotes tourism and tourism-related activities. It is an innovative tool integrating private and public resources and infrastructures to foster the development of sustainable cultural tourism.

The realization of the tourist facilities data base of the territory of Viterbo Province has allowed the compilation of cards which are constantly brought, with the cooperation of the local authorities and the private shopkeepers up to date. In them are described all the activities, distinguished for typology and characterized by elements which allow to the user evaluations and comparisons.

User can access the tourist data of the Viterbo Province through a guided route from the client side, then selects a location and reserves the desired stay and services at the hotel or facility chosen. Research functions allow to find receptive structures, services, events (cultural, folklore, wine and gourmet food, sporting…), routes and other information through the name, the typology or the commune.

The georeferencing of services makes it possible to identify the location of the selected business enterprise, graphically represented on cartography to the various stairs. The accommodation facilities integrated into the Territorial Information System allow to relate any single item to the other local resources, to view the selected facility on the reference maps and to see its connections with the tourist resources available locally (art, culture, food, public offices and services…)
